Spring is in the air and with that comes the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C. We were so fortunate this year to be asked to participate in the National Cherry Blossom Festival Pink Tie Party held at the gorgeous Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.
The staff at the ITC have a VIP hosted lounge every year to celebrate the National Cherry Blossom Festival. This is also one of the largest fundraising events that the Venue does to get exposure for the venue. They were looking for an unobtrusive digital entertainment solution that could help their guests have a good time while also allowing their staff to interact without it becoming too much of a sales pitch.
How The Magic Selfie Mirror Helped
The Magic Selfie Mirror enabled guests to have digital entertainment during the hosted party. Subsequently, guests were entertained and educated about the International Trade Center at the same time with a digital display of images that featured the trade center. We took their images and converted them into a stunning 4k picturesque presentation display that ran on the mirror during idle time.
A compelling feature of the mirror is called a "non-linear" option which allows for effective data capture. After The Magic Selfie Mirror took the guests photo, a multi-button screen appeared that allowed folks to print, text or email the photo or as many combinations as they desired. The feedback was awesome - guests loved the choice and in most cases would choose both a print and a text message. It is always so much fun to see how guests react to their photo when it arrives on their phone seconds later. Finally, because of the wireless frame color display, we were able to match the branding of the mirror to the theme of the party - a hot pink. This ensured that the Magic Selfie Mirror was unobtrusive and blended right in to the event
Because we capture data analytics and BI for all photos, we are also able to supply the client with contact information (all GDPR compliant) for all of the guests that were using the mirror. Last year, their staff spent countless hours trying to get customer data into their database using ipads. Instead, this year, when guests sent the photo to themselves, we were able to capture the data for them, freeing up their staff to truly engage with their clientele.
